Precautions:
- Confirm the device operates in the 2.4GHz band (2400–2483.5MHz)—otherwise, efficiency will degrade.
- High-gain antennas (e.g., 5dBi) are suitable for long-range use, but may sacrifice vertical coverage—select based on the scenario.
- For MIMO-supported devices (e.g., Wi-Fi 6), maintain an antenna spacing of ≥λ/2 (~6 cm) to minimize interference.
- Ensure antenna connectors (e.g., SMA, RP-SMA) are compatible with the device—forcing mismatched connectors may cause damage.
- Some antennas have limited temperature tolerance (e.g., -20°C to 60°C)—use industrial-grade products in extreme environments.
